Tokyo = Maserati. O Bella Ciao! (Úrsula Corberó – La Casa de Papel)
Úrsula Corberó is best known for her character in the Netflix series “Money Heist” or “La Casa de Papel” in original spanish, she is Tokyo.
I loved the show and I liked Tokyo, so I started following her Instagram account, her nickname is “ursulolita”, and she gained a lot of followers thanks to the success of this show.
She published many nice pictures, but I decided to select one of her as Tokyo, here it is, linked directly from her Instagram profile:
And now my version with graphic art:

I realized this image during the months of september and october of 2022.
I used GIMP as usual for most of the work but I also used another tool named Youzign to create 2 pieces of graphic I added:
- the bomb with the writing “O Bella Ciao”, that is the song of italian origin the band sing many times. The translaton in english is “Goodbye Beautiful”, here is the Wikipedia page that tells the history of this song that became popular all around the world.
- the graphic on the top left of the image, where I put the japanese kanji meaning Tokyo and the Maserati logo. That’s because it became notorious the sentence of Denver, another character of the series, that said that Tokyo is a fu%#ing Maserati, meaning she is a special one.
The series and its characters rocked pop culture and I wanted to make this art work 100% Pop Art, I hope I did it right and that you like it.
The final touch was to add Dali’s mustache to Tokyo’s face.
