Amala, Milano is Black & Blue: 2nd STAR!

I’m a big Inter Milan fan and this Monday Inter won their 20th scudetto by winning a Milan derby 2 to 1. AC Milan was second in the table with a 14 point gap and this victory awarded the championship at Inter with 5 games to spare.

In Italy for every 10 championships won, a star is added to the shirt and now Inter can add a second to the one already present.
it is a great pride for the Inter fans and there were great celebrations.

So I thought I’d update the graphic art I created last year when Inter defeated Milan in the Champions League semi-finals.

Below is the original photo of Bianca Balti with the stunning Milan Cathedral as a backdrop on her Instagram account, that I used for my original graphic art work of last year.

I must add that Bianca Balti is a Milan supporter, so she represents the defeated fans in the derby.

Inter’s colors are black and blue (and golden yellow) while those of AC Milan are red and black.
When one of the two teams from Milan wins the derby, its fans can say that the city is in its colours, so when Milan wins, the fans can say that Milano is red and black, when Inter wins, like this time, the fans can say that Milano is black and blue.

The Duomo is the symbol of the city of Milan so I decided to color it with the colors of Inter, while for Bianca, dressed in black, I added a little red, like the uniform of the team she’s rooting for.
